Recommended Dosage:

Just like any other prescription medicines, Zithromax must be taken exactly as per the doctor’s advice. Your doctor will evaluate and decide on the dosage that will best work for you and your infection.

Always drink a glass of water when taking a dose. If you have been prescribed to take the capsules, each capsule should be taken 1 – 2 hours before meal. If you are to take oral suspension, be sure to use the right measuring cup or spoon and be sure that your measurement is correct to achieve the right dosage. A kitchen spoon is not the right tool to use. Shake the bottle well to make sure that the mixture is in the right proportion when you pour them in the measuring cup.

Do not double dose; if you missed a dose, take it if the next dose is still a long time away. If the next dose will be in a few minutes, skip the missed dose.
